The news of a helicopter crash in the Mojave Desert on February 9th, 2024, sent shockwaves through Nigeria and the global financial community. Among the six lives tragically claimed was Herbert Wigwe, the 57-year-old CEO of Access Bank, one of Nigeria’s largest financial institutions along with his wife and son and a close friend Bamofin Abimbola Ogunbanjo, the former chairman of Nigeria’s stock exchange, NGX Group and two others as per the reports.
