Caroline Manzo, 62, a former star of the show “The Real Housewives of New Jersey” has filed a lawsuit against Bravo, Shed Media, and others alleging that her co-star, Brandi Glanville, sexually harassed and assaulted her during the filming of the show in Morocco. The lawsuit is filed in New York State Supreme Court. She has accused the producers of the show of hiring Glanville as a cast member despite “overwhelming prior notice of [her] prior deviant sexual proclivities and sexually harassing conduct”

As per the lawsuit, during the filming of RHUGT, Glanville kissed Manzo multiple times without her consent, forcibly kissed and humped her, and engaged in other inappropriate behavior, causing Manzo extreme emotional distress. The incident reminded Manzo of the childhood trauma she faced at the young age of 7.
As per the lawsuit, Bravo enlisted Manzo to join the cast of Season 4 of Ultimate Girls Trip. Manzo was scheduled to film in Morocco alongside fellow housewives like Brandi Glanville. But, she left the shooting midway due to this horrific incident.
Caroline Manzo’s Stance
Throughout the filming of the said show, Manzo alleges that the producers encouraged and permitted cast members to sexually harass each other to boost ratings.
“Defendants, including Bravo, regularly ply the Real Housewives cast with alcohol, cause them to become severely intoxicated, and then direct, encourage and/or allow them to sexually harass other cast members because that is good for ratings”, Manzo, 62, said in her statement.
Manzo’s attorney alleges, “Caroline Manzo is a victim of those harmful actions. This lawsuit seeks to hold defendants accountable for their unlawful conduct and hopefully discourage defendants from continuing to sacrifice their cast members’ safety for their own ratings and profits”.
Brandi Glanville’s Response To Allegations
In response to the allegations filed by Caroline Manzo, Glanville’s legal team has come forward and denied them. “Sadly, Brandi had to wake up to yet another lawsuit that includes defamatory, false accusations about her. While filming, Brandi followed what the producers asked of her, and there was no sexual assault,” said her legal team.
The statement continued: “She is innocent of these absurd accusations that have weighed on her mental and physical health for far too long without a word of support from Peacock, Shed, or Bravo”.
During such turbulent times, Glanville consistently expresses her stance through active use of social media.
