Spanish woman gangrape case in Jharkhand, India has sent shockwaves to people all around the world as a 45-year-old Spanish national was raped by 7 men in Jharkhand Dumka district while she was travelling on the bike along with her husband.
A horrific incident has shaken the state of Jharkhand, as a Spanish woman traveling with her husband was allegedly gang-raped by a group of men in the Dumka district. The incident, which occurred on Friday night, has sparked outrage and raised concerns about the safety of tourists and women in the region.

Spanish Woman Gang Raped In Jharkhand
According to reports, the couple, who were on a bike tour, were stopped near the Hansdiha market to spend the night in their tent. It is alleged that a group of 7 men approached them, overpowered the husband, and then proceeded to gang-rape the woman.
Distraught and injured, the couple was found by a patrolling police team who, upon sensing something amiss, took them to a local hospital for treatment. The woman is currently undergoing medical examinations, and the police have launched a manhunt to apprehend the remaining perpetrators. Four individuals have already been arrested in connection with the case.
Investigation
A cop told the news outlet that the survivor woman stopped a police van which was on patrolling around 10:30-11 pm and was brutally injured on her face and other parts of the body when she was asking for help to the police personnels on patrolling.
The policemen immediately rushed the woman to the nearby hospital where the woman told the hospital staff that she was raped which prompted immediate police intervention in the case.
As police department of Hansidha Police Station probed into the incident, four men have been already arrested while a team has been formed for further investigations and nabbing the remaining accused in the case.

The survivor and her husband used their social media handle to narrate the ordeal about the heinous crime taken place against them but the post was later taken down as the Jharkhand police ordered it will “disturb” the investigation.
The Spanish couple bikers who have been travelling the whole world and entered India after biking through neighbouring countries like Pakistan and Bangladesh were travelling from Indian state West Bengal and camping in Jharkhand while they planned to enter Nepal, travelling to another Indian state Bihar.
However, their dream trip turned into a nightmare when, while camping in Jharkhand, seven men raped the women, beat the couple, and robbed them—a horror they hoped would never befall anyone else.
The woman while narrating the horrors inflicted on them said not many things were stolen as the alleged rapists wanted to just rape her. She narrated that knives were kept on their necks and were told they (attackers) were going to kill us.
The woman who is also a blogger and has 2 lakh followers on Instagram said: “We thought we were going to die, but thank god we are alive.” and added Something has happened to us that we would not wish on anyone. Seven men have raped me “Something has happened to us that we would not wish on anyone. Seven men have raped me.”
The couple had notably travelled 63 countries in a year and were on the world tour with their motorbikes and had covered 170,000 kilometres.

A member of the ruling political party of India, Bharatiya Janta Party (BJP), Anant Ojha dismayed the shocking crime incident in the state as “stain on the stain” as he said: “This shows the deteriorating law and order in the state that even foreigners aren’t safe here. The police should act soon and the government should take cognisance of it and take strict action against the anarchists. This government has been completely failed.”
The Chief Minister of Jharkhand has expressed his deepest condolences to the victim and her family and assured them of a swift and fair investigation. He has also ordered strict action against the perpetrators and directed the police to take all necessary measures to ensure the safety of tourists and citizens alike.
