On February 11, 2024, at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, the Uber Eats Super Bowl advertisement, which was made by the creative agency Special US, will be aired during the Kansas City Chiefs vs. San Francisco 49ers game. Along with Victoria and David Beckham, the commercial also stars Jennifer Aniston and David Schwimmer, who were once co-stars of Friends. The commercial basically shows us that people tend to forget things, but not to order from Uber Eats.
The commercial starts with a production assistant handing Jennifer Aniston her Uber Eats parcel which has flowers in it. While they are having a conversation about Uber Eats, Jennifer tells the assistant, “Yeah well you know what they say in order to remember something, you have got to forget something else. Make a little room,”. Towards the end of the commercial we can see David Schwimmer walking towards Jennifer to give her a hug but she stops him with her Uber Eats bag.
Jennifer fails to recognise and remember David. David acknowledges her confusion and asks, “You still don’t know, do you?”. Jennifer mocks, “Like I’d forget ten years of my life,” as she leaves with her bag of flowers and other belongings. As Jennifer walks away, David says, “I hate this town,” and looks into space.
The commercial also showcases the range of products that Uber Eats offers; Aniston is seen holding a bouquet of flowers, Usher is having some food, and the Beckhams are preparing dinner with some groceries and spices.
