Despite New Hampshire primary loss to former US President Donald Trump, Nikki Haley is adamant to stay in the race and come up as the winner.
The former US ambassador to the United Nations told a crowd of supporters that she isn’t going anywhere. “This race is far from over. There are dozens of states left to go and the next one is my sweet state of South Carolina.”
After finishing third-place in Iowa, Tuesday night was a fresh loss at second-place. With Ron DeSantis and Vivek Ramaswamy out of the race, momentum is building towards the US Presidential Election 2024. It’s now between Donald Trump and Nikki Haley on the Republican side and Joe Biden for the Democrats.

New Hampshire Primary Results, Next Stop South Carolina
Trump and Biden are leading the primary results for their respective parties in New Hampshire. Biden won for the Democrats even though his name was not included on the primary ballot. This comes after a grassroots campaign urged the ruling party to write in his name, alongside a super PAC raising about $1.5 million for this effort.
On the Republican side, things are getting hotter. With hopes on South Carolina, Haley said “We’re not going to let them coronate Donald Trump when 48 states haven’t voted.” She added that Donald Trump’s only strategy is to lie about her and her record.
“That’s not going to work in South Carolina. The people of South Carolina know that I cut their taxes, passed one of the toughest immigration bills in the country, and moved thousands from welfare to work.”
Donald Trump’s Not So Nice Words for Nikki Haley
The former US president and 2024 presidential hopeful threw insults at Haley, saying she had a very bad night. He added that he couldn’t let his former United Nations ambassador get away with bulls**t. “But I felt I should do this, because I find in life you can’t let people get away with bulls**t. You can’t. And when I watched her in the fancy dress…I said what’s she doing? We won. And she did the same thing last week.”
Trump believes Haley should suspend her campaign. “She should because, otherwise, we have to keep wasting money instead of spending on Biden. If she doesn’t drop out, we have to waste money instead of wasting it on Biden, which is our focus.”
Biden Says US Democracy at Stake
With Trump leading for the Republicans, Biden warned that US’ democracy is at stake. “It is now clear that Donald Trump will be the Republican nominee. My message to the country is the stakes could not be higher.
“Our Democracy. Our personal freedoms – from the right to choose to the right to vote. Our economy – which has seen the strongest recovery in the world since COVID. All are at stake.”
The US president appealed to the Republicans and independent voters to support him in the upcoming general election. He urged everyone to join them as Americans.
