On February 13, 2024, Diablo 4 will get a new patch that introduces Uber Unique Crafting. While, features like Gauntlet dungeon and leaderboards are delayed as of now.

Recently, Blizzard Entertainment, aka the Diablo 4 developers, advised players to hold onto all of their unused Uber Uniques, stating Blizzard has plans for “something in a future patch.”

Now, finally, the developers have announced 1.3.2 Patch notes for Diablo 4. The patch is set to go live on February 13, 2024, across all platforms.

Diablo 4 Reveals Uber Uniques in Update 1.3.2 Patch Notes

Diablo 4’s latest patch, 1.3.2, introduces Uber Unique Crafting, a new system that allows players to salvage duplicate or undesired Uber Unique items to craft any Uber Unique they choose. This feature aims to address the challenge of obtaining these highly sought-after items and provide players with increased autonomy in obtaining their desired Uber Uniques.

It also includes an increase in the drop rates of Uber Uniques, except for Duriel and Maggot King.

Uber Unique items in Diablo 4 are extremely rare and powerful, boasting unique stats and fixed affixes. As of now, there are seven Uber Unique items in Diablo IV. These items are:

• Andariel’s Visage (Helm)
• Doombringer (One-handed sword)
• The Grandfather (Two-handed sword)
• Harlequin Crest (Helm)
• Melted Heart of Selig (Amulet)
• Ring of Starless Skies (Ring)
• Ahavarion, Spear of Lycander (Staff)

These items have an incredibly low drop rate and are considered the rarest and most sought-after items in the game. The drop rates for Uber Uniques were initially extremely low, but the game’s developers have made adjustments to make them more obtainable.

How To Craft Uber Uniques in Diablo 4

Wondering how to craft Uber Uniques in Diablo 4? Here are the simple steps to do so:

1. Salvage unused Uber Uniques into Resplendent Sparks.
2. Collect at least 5 Resplendent Sparks.
3. Visit the Alchemist and use the 5 Resplendent Sparks to Transmute them into an Uber Unique of your choice.
4. Select the Uber Unique you want under the Transmute tab.

In addition to Uber Unique Crafting, the patch also includes various bug fixes and changes to the Cursed Shrine event. The introduction of this new crafting system is a significant development for the game and is expected to have a positive impact on the player experience.

Developer’s Note: Uber Unique items are highly sought after. With Season of Blood, we introduced target-farming Uber Unique Items with Uber Duriel to give players another source of acquiring this type of item. However, we want to give players increased autonomy in obtaining their desired Uber Unique by addressing feedback that expressed how acquiring duplicate or undesired Uber Unique Items lessens that feeling of triumph. A new system empowers players to make use of duplicate and undesired Uber Unique items by salvaging them for a new resource, which can be used to craft an Uber Unique of their choosing eventually. Additionally, the chance for Uber Unique Items to drop everywhere but in Uber Duriel encounters has been increased.

Uber Unique Crafting

• Uber Unique Items can now be salvaged to provide a new resource, Resplendent Sparks. Players can bring 5 Resplendent Sparks to the Alchemist and Transmute an Uber Unique of their choice.
  • The Refine Resources tab at the Alchemist has been renamed Transmute, and the option to craft an Uber Unique item can be found under that tab.
  • Note that the preview window for crafting an Uber Unique won’t display the item’s affixes.
• The drop chance of Uber Unique items acquired outside of Uber Duriel encounters has been increased.

Miscellaneous

• The Cursed Shrine event now gives the Shrine bonus at the start of the event instead of when it is finished.

• Fixed an issue where the Screen Reader did not read the Claimed status for Lunar Awakening rewards.

• Fixed an issue where Vizier Wasp Constructs were not affected by Immobilizing effects.

• Fixed an issue where the Ancestral Favor window wouldn’t automatically close when walking away from Ying-Yue.

Gameplay

• Fixed an issue where Treasure Goblins could fail to spawn while fighting Avarice.
• Fixed an issue where enemies killed via an execute effect could not drop loot.
• Fixed an issue where the Melted Hear of Selig was not always rolling the maximum value for its movement speed affix.
• Fixed an issue where the Echoing Fury aspect didn’t grant bonus Fury if Tactical Rallying Cry was learned.
• Fixed an issue where Advanced Rapid Fire would incorrectly override the bonus Critical Strike Damage from other sources.
• Fixed an issue where the damage increase and resource reduction cost from Ring of the Starless Skies were not calculated correctly.
