The Custom Sticker Placement Patch Note in Counter Strike 2

Valve, the developer and distributor of Counter Strike 2 has deployed a new patch that allows stickers to be placed almost anywhere on weapons, sparking creativity within the community. The update for custom stickers allows players to personalize their in-game arsenal.

While in Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, had this option their freedom of customization was limited to four pre-set spots on weapons.

Now, the custom Stickers are no longer restricted to a few preset positions. You can drag and drop (and even rotate) to get your sticker placement fixed. Also, all the weapons now support up to five stickers in CS2. (See Video below)

Exploitation Of The Creative Stickers Update: NSFW Images Circulate Online

“It’s been 12 hours since the Arms Race update was released. Let’s see those new sticker crafts,” the CS2 developers posted on X.

This update was intended to foster creativity and allow players to express themselves within the game. But, what came out was a shocker for the CS2 Community.

Instead of showcasing artistic designs or team logos, some players have exploited this feature to inscribe racial and gender slurs on their weapons, tarnishing the gaming experience for many.

CS2 Community Shocked by Negative Creativity in New Sticker Craft Update

Reports from various sources indicate that some members of the Counter-Strike 2 community have taken advantage of this feature to write derogatory words and phrases on their weapons. Especially on X, NSFW designs are suddenly being shared with many players using dirty slang and cuss words on their weapons.

Have a look at how the Counter-Strike 2 players are reacting to these changes. (NOTE: The content in the images contains age-restrictive sensitive images.)

Due to this, players have reported the issue on X (former Twitter), showing concerns about the game’s rep.

While this is not the first time that some immature and insensitive players have gone low. Games like Call Of Duty have also reported similar instances of misuse.

While this feature was intended to enhance player creativity, it has unfortunately been exploited by some to spread hate speech and offensive language.
